The studio
MEDUSA ESTUDIO BCN is a recording studio located in Barcelona. It is currently one of the largest studios in the city and is situated in the historic neighborhood of Sants, just a few minutes away from Barcelona Airport and Sants Station.
Main Studio
The main studio of Medusa features a 50 m² control room and a 100 m² live room. It is equipped with a NEVE GENESYS G80 console, a ProTools HDX recording system with DAD converters, a Genelec monitoring system, and a wide selection of outboard gear capable of handling the most demanding productions.
Red Studio
The Red Studio is designed as a versatile space for both production and mixing tasks. It is equipped with a Solid State Logic 4000E 40-channel console, a ProTools HDX recording system, DAD converters, and an ATC monitoring system.
Four live rooms
Medusa has a large live room of 80 m², a second room of 20 m², a booth of 8 m², and another booth of 4 m², all with direct visual contact to facilitate communication between musicians. These rooms are connected to both control rooms (Main and Red) for recording from either of them.
Chill out area
In the center of the studio, there is a spacious 120 m² area equipped with an office (microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher), a large chill-out area with a pool table, sofas, video game consoles, and everything needed to relax during sessions. We also have parking spaces available within the studio premises.
